THE IDEAL CONDO: A HOME FOR THREE IN PASIG
This 2BR unit in The Vantage at Kapitolyo was a recent project we finished in 2022. Compared to other condo units in The Vantage, you’ll notice the ceiling in the living room to be much lower, partly due to the installation of a drop ceiling. Accompanying the drop ceiling is an array of track lights to ensure a well-lit space to complement the neural tones across the home. Like always, the laminated wood flooring used for this unit comes from our trusted friends over at Matimco. Read on to discover how we transformed this into a cozy family home!
LIVING ROOM & DINING AREA
Before we began, having more lights was the vision for this space. To accommodate that, we renovated this area to install a drop ceiling extending to the kitchen, followed by track lights to achieve it. Moreover, we wanted the fixtures to deliver the flair for the unit and chose neutral tones with subtle hints of the colors found in more minor details.
KITCHEN
This kitchen counter used to be longer, and we had cut it to make room for this breakfast nook you see here.
STUDY ROOM
We designed this study room to allow the family to work and bond together. Just across the table is a sofa where anyone can shift to a more comfortable workspace. Our electrician had rewired this area to accommodate the table’s location and make the electrical outlets more accessible.
BEDROOM
Home to the youngest of the family, the kid’s bedroom is often a room we design to be future-proof. We don’t opt for kiddie designs in the paint but instead make choices for children growing up. We put some gold polka dots by the bed for a more playful look.
MASTER BEDROOM
The Master Bedroom is straightforward. The unit owners wanted a simple space to unwind and take a breather; when we asked them how they wanted it to be, their response was a space to sleep uninterrupted. Hence, the decision to make a cozy and simple space.
